Sweet sugar sprinkled on me
i taste the past and chew on the last straw
you and i have sour mouths when we twist our words together
strangle me with the ability you have left
a silenced goodbye
a ghost
placing chocolate chips on dirt trails one by one
follow meβ€”without seeing me.
one by one slide them down your throat
popping pills is easy
but our heads never stopped to breathe
taste the good and the bad times.
there is only time
