No animal throughout the land
So majestic as the hare
If you could see what’s in her heart
You’d marvel at what’s there

Bounding past the meadows green
All throughout the year
The hares play and while away
Their hours with their dear

No animal throughout the land,
So sweet and so refined
With tender hearts and tender minds
They fawn and frolic with their kind

No animal throughout the land
So majestic as the hare
If you could see what’s in her heart
You’d marvel at what’s there
