If I could make a list right now,
   regrets of my own past;
It'd take too long to list them all,
   in this short time I have.

I've asked forgiveness for them all,
   forgiven for each one;
But still some haunt me everyday,
   they're never really gone.

I keep my head up pressing on,
   now tryin' to do what's right;
I fight each battle as they come,
   to win each war at night.

I take the things I learned from past
   and all the battles won;
I use them daily for the best,
   to change the road I'm on

I find the strength to live each day,
   do better from the start;
To fan the flames of better man
   that burn inside my heart.

I know I'm better than I've been,
   far better than the past;
To live each moment here on Earth
   just like 'twil be my last!

It's all about those precious times,
   each little memory made;
So live your life to do what's right
   if only for today!
