The masses hunger but are not fed. The young thirst but have nothing to drink. The light is being put out from the public places. The world is in turmoil and no one has the answer. The staff of life has ceased to be taught and has been replaced with something pleasing to hear. People have become as dead wood and are just as hollow and empty as a rotten tree. There is a famine in the land but not for lack of food, but for the hearing of Gods word. The spiritual person is being starved of the truth and no longer drinks of the water of life. So in the end time of man, it is not food that is lacking but Gods word.
