When someone leaves this life on earth,
   no matter how you try;
I'ts never easy letting go
   or saying last goodbyes!

Their time cut short, they left too soon,
   their work on earth now done;
The Lord saw fit to call them home,
   their war on earth now won!

They're moved up to a better place,
   their Home in Beulah Land;
No pain or sorrow evermore
   once touched by Master's Hand!

They're walking down the purest streets
   with Jesus as their light;
They'll never shed another tear
   not one more lonely night!

They've got a home, a place to live,
   their bonds of pain now freed;
No bit of sadness 'ere again
   beside the crystal sea!

So as you grieve, remember this,
   they're in a better place;
They're better now than 'ere before
   with Jesus face to face!
