Sep 2016
remain consistent above the crescents and stars
oblivious to ruination and recrimination
putting memories and drudgery behind bars
captured, contained above rule and intimidation

fluffed up behind recognition and held high
immortal as history and pretense
you've had the chance and time to belie
now you must stand at your own expense

fearing for cowards is a plain virtue
hiding... desperate as a plan can be
all purpose and position now fully askew
don't trespass again or act the detainee
