Miles to go,
Walking in the blistering cold,
All alone wearin  summer clothes
Pitch black night and I'm 6 years old.
My shoes got holes on the soles and toes,
The sun was bright when I left home but it's gone.
Haven't had a drink or bite to eat for at least a week.

No stoppin till I find warmth,
I figured if I went north I'd run into a store,
Now I'm lost and cold, where the **** Did my mother Go?

She took off and left me alone,
Said she'd be right back but I guess she forgot.
I am her only child so I can understand.
Maby if I had a brother or sister she would have rembered to come back.

Flat fields on both sides and mountains far of in the sight.
I haven't seen a car since my mom left that night.
I just hope someone drives by and gives this scraggly kid a ride.

I tried to wait but I ate both the cup a noodles and drank all the water the first night.
3 days in I was delirious and could barely stand.
A 2 pack of crackers and some snow is what helped me stand.

**** it I'm young enough to say the world is corrupt with every right to believe it.
Finely the police show up and take me to my grandpas.
Thank God it's warm and he feeds us.
