Would have asked for a moment
another chance to sit next to you
I would say I know I was greedy
the high seat looked so golden
and my lust for glory massive
but I thought you would love me
as you loved your first choice
i blame the lurking shadows
I loved you more than you knew
now all i see are your stars at night
for am accustomed to the darkness
and the burning lake you promised me
To live I roam this long deserted land
and yes millions run to me for help
I make them bring souls with them
For the lake is overlyΒ Β wide and hot
Still I wish there was an easy way
to right all the wrongs I have done
so I can stay next to you once again
