The hope we carry
day to day
needs the light
to find it's way,

the peace we harvest
row by row

the patience protected
though the storm

to keep it warm,

the faith we have
from God above
needs the light
to yield His love,

the love we share
and pass along
needs the light

for God is light
will always be
now and through
