My life's quest
journey and chase
as a member
of the human race,
to find and keep
the things adored
and preserve the memories
that came before,
but most meaningful
I'll have to say
is the love we share
from day to day,
and as we continue
to reach out
the proof within is
what life's about,
turning ourselves inside out
because all along
my soul, you see
is the gift
God gave to me,
a gift for  us
in turn to give
to teach each other
how to live.
