Filled with salt and not fit to drink, akin to the sand of the great vast deserts. Yet life still abounds in abundance, despite the harsh reality of the elements. Though the surface appears to be devoid of much but churning water, as the sands of an arid waste that is churned by the wind. Life finds a way to exist in both places. Under the surface of the water, vast forest of colorful plants grow with schools of fish and vast intricate tapestries of life. As in the desert that holds a delicate eco system, so the ocean lives even though it appears that nothing is there at all.
