For a time she made me feel so much more than I ever was. No matter what I did she was always there, always behind me. I felt like I could take on the world and be home in time for tea, then bed we made love like we were one, as though the universe itself embraced us. Then one day it didn't. I know not which day as I had noticed no change. I was asleep at the wheel. The relationship left the road. It was a fatality
