Yesterday I thought I conquered in order to move on
Somehow my tomorrow never came
But did I see the vision of my aim
Perhaps I am being just lame
In my head the bitterness of my shame
Tomorrow comes for only who try
My forgotten heart in its own cry
A tomorrow with a held back Hour Glass
My tomorrow will not be coming fast
But how long will all this last?
A decree is no degree
A bird soars in knowing how to be free
What does yesterday want of me?
A true heart with a destiny
One soul showing no one pity
A shadow not recognized
But being intrigued in fully energized
Tomorrow being my reminder to excel
But be confident in ability that will sell and tell
My tomorrow will be
Just wait and see.
