Grass roots
The Sun
Sol
following Winter
chasing me into the shadows,
In those
who knows
what lurks?
I am pedestrian
Lancastrian,
but the good Lord
he made me
a Geordie where they
still talk of that
'Jarrow Walk'
as if it was
yesterday.
They march on to haunt me
in what was and what
could be
history repeats
but we knew that
and many times before by some
lake or on the shore
when I've looked out and tried to
make sense of it
I am hit by the oddities,
life's ideosyncrasies
I feel that
my insecurities
secure me.
