I sit here. And you?

                                     You sit there,

away from my sight,
smelling only your scent
diffusing in the air.

And the silence grows everyday,
keeps on destroying,
keeps on ripping the love
once we thought was true,
the love we kept on hoping
to exist forever.

But now,
I'm sitting here, and you?

                                                             You're sitting there,

getting more far
where I can no longer see
even your shadow.
And your scent,
it's fading this time.

Now I stay in silence,
becoming deaf,
now I'm deaf,
caused by the loud silence
that enters my mind so deep.

Now I can't even hear
the beat of my heart.
But glad I could feel it,
I could still feel it
thumping slower, and slower,
but slower.

And now I'll live in silence,
forever.
