The Lion that Roared
Take pride
In who you are
Embrace the palette
Of your life
You have earned
The right to stand tall
The right to walk with confidence
How could this day
Be anything other
Than transformative?
The door is open to you
And fresh breezes of change
Enter in
Today you celebrate
Your great victory
And dance with others
What else is there for you
But to win
Today you take ownership
Of your destiny
Remembering
The lion that roared this morning
Was you
