Leaving me with a
duck-faced-pucker
that only a mother
could truly love
Bitter to your core
and odd in shape
yet you often shine
as a center piece
Contrary to be sure
you are capable of
meaningful change
I've slipped your
wedge into my beer
I've added you to
my cakes and pies
and touched with
sweetener, water
and plenty of ice
you concoct a
simple beverage
that stands the test
of time and tradition.
LOL... that's all I can say.
