If red was blue,
and black was white.

If up was down,
and left was right.

If light was dark,
and day was night.

If life was fair,
and good was right.

If lie was truth,
and love was spite.

Then a world there could be for you and me.

But.

The world is round.
The earth is ground.

The dirt is brown.
The grass is grown.

And you are you, and I am me.
