What you saw
You can never say,
What you saw when you were alone.
when your family wasn't home.
you wish you hadn't known,
what you in the end were shown.
All the pain
started that day,
all the lies.
and when you lost your blissful high,
you finally had to say goodbye.
Maybe it was better if they knew,
but you won't say what you went through.
They would never treat you right,
they would never know your plight.
*
So you keep silent.
