It was my life in a traveling new horizon depart
My life was going to be a new fresh start
That Greyhound bus 184 with a destination Chicago at 12:00 pm from New York City
A city I grew up and call a pity
I leave all my worries and care behind
I am sitting back in my Greyhound bus reclining seat
As the bus is maneuvering, my mind is thinking on defeat
As my Greyhound bus is swiftly moving over the highway
I am seeing highway signs that are saying, “Destined”, “Move Forward”, “Exploration”, “Don’t give into Defeat” and “Success is your Greyhound Bus”
However, my Greyhound bus was making a Rest stop at “Forever Young”
I am young at heart, and tomorrow a new chapter being a new beginning
I must remain focused in establishing more innings
Well my Greyhound bus pushed on and the night had finally arrived
It was off with the nightlight and a good night’s sleep
The Moon was shining bright and it seemed to bring me closer to my destination being ever so right
I am dreaming from once I came, but thinking about my new life being the aim
I am definitely Windy City bound
Arrival precisely on time at 9:00 am
Chicago where my life will begin
My travel finished and my story at end.
