A hobo in Soho goes South
I knew him,

a gentle man
a road man
a man with a load on his mind man

and kind too
never knew him not to give,

'the only way to live'
he told me once,
when I was sat with him

I called him Archimedes
because
he,
though displaced,
displaced the same amount, though
faced with discontent
he was content to be.

Interestingly
he never complained about his lot,
lots complained about him,

a gentle man
gentleman Jim,

Anyway he's gone and more
will come along
until
we,
Joe Public
have had our fill and
sort the situation
move in a new direction,

don't ***** Archimedes
do something
memorable.
