Untangle
I wish I were you
I wish you were me
Just for today
I wish I didn’t see
Grief stricken faces
In the papers
I wish we could talk and talk
And talk
To untangle the mess of the world
I wish that we could all start over
Build society once more
Put all wrongs to right
I wish I could tell
Comforting stories
To quieten all anger and hatred
I wish I could
I wish I could
I wish I could
