Empty

When will I learn, Dreams don't come true. Everything's foggy, I haven't a clue. Time has grown sluggish, Days stand still. The emptiness inside me, Nothing can fill. The moment has passed, The window has closed. I turned down the offer Life once proposed. My options are gone My path is pin straight I'm heading towards An ominous fate. All hope I once had Is gone with the sun. Mocking my failure- The laughter's begun. Hollow gasps and cries Tear at my throat Feeling constrained- World- hear my shout.
