Each blade of grass is supported beneath it by a finger.

Under the ground millions of souls stand,
Arms raised,
And push up through the soil with their fingers,
Pushing a new blade of grass through the ground.

Each blade contains all the hopes and dreams,
All the longings and promises,
Of each forgotten life,
Each soul become invalid.
