If you're going through times lately
where it's hard to see past the day
the weight of the world falling on your back
and you're feeling lost and lonely
thinking to yourself if only
when you can't seem to find your way

When moments wants to bring you down
as you hit face first in the dirt
while trying to keep your faith from the hurt
that the heart is starting to lack
looking through the clouds that rain
waiting to see the best out of today
as tears drop emptiness on the ground

Just remember to keep holding on
to what is inside you that's never gone
look through the clouds that rain
and feel the warmth of that shining sun
that is hidden behind the pain
for there will always be better days to come
