You’re who
I lie with at night
People may talk
But that’s all right
They don’t know us
Or have any insight
As to who we are
Not the least bit contrite

Let them call us
Out of our name
You’re who I lie with
And I’m not ashamed
They can point fingers
And call us those names
But we’re gonna love
Each other the same

You’re who
I lie with at night
I lived in darkness
You were the light
Say what you want
To make us uptight
Or try to provoke us
We’re not gonna bite

Let them call us
Out of our name
You’re who I lie with
And I’m not ashamed
They can point fingers
And call us those names
But we’re gonna love
Each other the same

They’re entitled
To have an opinion
But that doesn’t give ‘em
Some kind of dominion

So let them call us
Out of our name
You’re who I lie with
And I’m not ashamed
They can point fingers
And call us those names
But we’re gonna love
Each other the same

You’re who
I lie with at night
People may talk
But that’s all right
They don’t know us
Or have any insight
As to who we are
Not the least bit contrite
