Forest Unseen
I walk among your hidden meaning these trails are leading
You are watching from the heights where you secure delights
My soul walks in heaviness wounded from sights now bleeding
One moment laughter and at a turn all is changed to sorrow
We are misplaced and find emptiness that overwhelms
We ask for and exchange we plead please let us borrow
The swelling deep mist we are a ship without a rudder at the helm
We came in the idea of knowing now our deep ignorance is showing
For sure the age it takes for you to mature great lessons must unfold
We are lost surly we are superficial we only scratch the surface of knowing
What mysteries are hidden if we only knew what the pine is beholding
What wonders were exposed when the heart of coal was opened
Science nudged with copious means it left everyone to marvel
The water fall added the sweetest pleasure how much delight it penned
You asked with a humble voice quick was the answer so much it did unravel
You caught the deepest truth that was sleeping in the woods
Now you are asked to carry the good back and help so much that is misunderstood
You bought with the coin that only a heart can produce it is framed by love
You found mercy when you walked off the beaten path
Earth and heaven unite and it makes a living treasure trove
The bending of grace removes and restores and kills judgments wrath
