the Sun warms the earth a little more these days
sticks around for longer timeless hours
everything here stands still while seeds germinate
and push their new born selves skyward
anchored in soil deep mystery against any wind
the greening crust of the World lives and breathes
all creatures find a home here and dance to the summer Sun
light that will stretch to high summer, the twenty four hour day.
