I remember prenatal
The feeling of warmth
And mother puking

I remember six weeks old
And mother throwing me
Down a flight of stairs

I remember one
When mother threw me
Out of her VW's sunroof

I remember year two
When her mobster
Boyfriend ***** me

I remember three
When I was locked
In the basement with the rats

I remember four
And moving
to Nevada

I remember five
and Kennedy
Dying

I remember six
And learning
Sin

I remember seven
And learning
Heaven

I remember eight
Mother beat me
With a belt buckle

I remember nine
and lying there
Dying

I remember
Mother
Happy mother's day
