She was probably a lover of Picasso
or maybe just a lady dressed in blue,
but she left the night behind somewhere in Salem
and she wandered through her thoughts and
back to you.

And you,
a martyr to the looks she never gave you
a nomad in the city of the night,
a rose by any other name is not
a lioness to tame
she was probably a lover of Picasso.
