Intoxication
I can feel it in my feet
a little tingle, a little tweak
as if I'm floating
above the sea—
And no ones eyes
are watching me.
My heart pounds with alteration,
I think I live to change the face I
wear around, fit to occasion—
I crave to preserve who I truly am.
Fueling my spirits sinfully,
I revel in poisoning
my frail body with much glee,
despite damage done to me.
