I am content
To hear the humming of small frayed
wings and the gentle chirps
of newborn babes
I am content.
This wild laughter caught between
silvery trunks
gives wings to the love growing
in my limbs
small gestures of Spring
Release, bring forth
a new time of enjoyment
the solomon seal
bitter and dancing on my tongue
reminds me again
and again
of how content I am.
This beauty unfurling as golden lashes
open upon the earth
is no less beautiful then faith,
caught between pages.
In every newborn leaf
I am found.
