I was bleeding
My essence falling to the ground
The life left my body
I didn't resist, I didn't make a sound

My heartbeat slowed, the light began to show up as I closed my eyes
And though I thought you simply an acquaintance
You turned out to a blessing in disguise

And though you didn't wipe all the tears from my eyes
And you couldnt patch up all of my cuts and bruises
You picked me up and kept me going
So never ever confuse this
