Flicker to the left
Flicker to the right
Towards me
Away from me
Burn burn burn
The wax drips
Down
    Down
           Down
A secret is whispered
A lie is told
A word cuts a soul
A sentence builds it up
An unknowable pain
Eases into a heart
As his lips brush her ear
And she leans away
Broken inside
Yet sewn together
Haphazardly
His heart shatters as
He watches her walk away
Full of nothingness
And the flickering finally dies
