Playhouse
The edges of one body blending into the bones of another
spreading like fire on a terrace of thatched roof houses
we are learning how to count in twos, in pairs
we are moulding into the shape
of a house where children run, barefoot
we are learning how to build ourselves out of ashes and fractions
out of crumbling teeth and rotten mouth kisses,
halitosis
