I feel  I am a slave
A slave to the kitchen sink
Never ending meals
Rattling pots and pans
Doing all the mundane chores...
Being
A wife
A mother
A nurse
A psychotherapist
And, an agony aunt!
The list
Goes on
And on, and on.

I
Want to unshackle those chains
Once
And for All!
( for Sanity's sake)...Set myself
FREE!

This Surely
Is not the way things should be for me.
I am sure
There are better things out there
Waiting there just
For Me.

I need to be cared for once again
Made
To feel Special...
And,
Not Just
A mother, a wife, a nurse etc.!

I AM
A PERSON!

YES,
A Human Being
Just like.,.YOU!

I
Also
Need
To be nurtured
Just like You.

I feel
My prison sentence is over...
I want to be released,
Want to be Free!

Grant me that pardon
Just
Let Me be ME!

For every other Woman out there,
Bless You All
Stand  TALL!
...Vi.!***.
