There is a wedding ring in the ashes
a husband killed in a most violent war
and all his plans and dreams
lay now dormant in the ashes

He belonged to the 31st
a high guard captain
and all we have of him now
is his wedding ring in the ashes

We know they tortured him before he died
because there is blood everywhere
we know he would of kept his mouth shut
for no word do we speak to our enemies

I call to our high guard priest
I ask for the water of wedlock
she hands that holy water we fight for so much
and I drop a few drops on the ground

Stand back I say to my troops
don't come any nearer
for here are the tears
of Babylon and Syria

So mighty does the ground shake
as our killer tanks go by
and above our heads
our sweet fighters fly
