You can call it
What you want
I’m gonna call it
What it is
Racism’s at its core
It’s the answer
To the quiz

Where did we go wrong?
Don’t pretend that you don’t know
Everyone should be aware
You reap just what you sow

The office of President
That we usually hail
Has some in Congress
Hoping this one will fail
It’s ludicrous
They should be assailed
Or at the very least they need to be unveiled

Where did we go wrong?
Don’t pretend that you don’t know
Everyone should be aware
You reap just what you sow

Those who say
They want their country back
Make some of us
Have to beg the fact
Is that just code
For brown yellow and black

Where did we go wrong?
Don’t pretend that you don’t know
Everyone should be aware
You reap just what you sow

It’s really simple
No need to complicate
We can see
The ugly face of hate
And that shouldn’t be
Open to debate
So I promise not to equivocate

Where did we go wrong?
Don’t pretend that you don’t know
Everyone should be aware
You reap just what you sow

You can call it
What you want
I’m gonna call it
What it is
Racism’s at its core
It’s the answer
To the quiz
