not when you are a alcoholic
drinking at the cold light of day
drinking to the madness of night
thinking that no one knows
no one knows of your addiction
denying to yourself and others
that you really do have a problem

There is always a reason or way
that you convince people, hell not anymore you say
but you know you can do what you want
because you are always so ****** drunk
just look at the crafty ways you have
hiding those bottles and cans
thinking no one knows
yet all around you, they all understand

They see you for what you are
another head always in a whiskey jar
always ****** as a ****
but hey, it's for your art
yet knowing deep deep down
that this drug is tearing you apart
but you will carry on and on, you understand
hiding those bottles and cans
