Let’s just say in this story California is further than you think
As the story blossoms so does expectations
John and his family are planning a trip to California
He doesn’t want to buy a expensive car
Just something that will make it cross country being mileage far
A suggestion was a 1936 Red Ford Convertible
Now 1936?
It sounds more like my mother the car TV series
However the car had bullet holes
Sounds like a gangster’s car
You are probably thinking a Bonnie and Clyde getaway vehicle
Perhaps A Al Capone’s motor czar
Martha his wife said, I remember a slogan of “Take the bus and avoid the fuss”
But at this point, it is a must
Now all the things that need to be packed
Yet everything is carefully stacked
But the problem is, where will the family sit?
Nothing seems to fit
In fact, the car looks more like the Beverly Hillbillies
Hound bus you are for us
So California here we come, and the Ford being none
The Ford that went back
Also the same Ford the family had to unpack
It was the Hound bus dog who won
Ready for California to have some fun
As for the story, we are done.
