You do not need to pick and poke
To provoke
A reaction
Often times all you need is inaction
To create a distance
Just resistance
And it hurt to know
You can't show
Adequate interaction
Much less a small fraction
As a lonely toy on the ebb and flow
Of a shoreline washed out slow
Lost to a sea of questions never replied
Retract into shell and hide
