Unravel
All I want is a break.
A piece of time to unwind.
It's not too much to ask,
To want to unravel my mind.
I'm not asking for refuge,
Or to be rescued from this place.
I'm not asking for condolences.
Just a moment from this race.
Take me for drive.
You don't have to say a word.
Just take this journey with me,
And release the stress incurred.
Remember when you were a child?
Your hand out the window in the wind?
Let's listen to the tires on a back road,
And absorb that feeling again.
All I want is a break.
A piece of time to unwind.
If it's not too much to ask,
Would you help unravel my mind?
