When I was a girl
Not too long ago
The hills rolled far
Blanketed in snow
The summer was hot
And full of strange life
Everything was so colorful
Bodies bursting with delight
In a very short time
I grew so old
Wrinkles forming fast
Misery in every fold
Incessant fatigue
Plaguing each and every bone
Sometimes I take the long way back
Yet still avoid our old home
Nevermind
