I once happened upon a rift in time

The thing pulsated so chronally sublime

Peering from the void were many faces of a clock

They spoke in tandem, shouting “Tick Tock!”

This spectacle dazed me and I tripped in confusion

Tendrils of the rift wrapped me in splendid delusion

I had realized the illusion of time far too late

So there I languished, caught in the clutches of fate
