Poems
Feb 2016
drown soft
you saw me
scattered
on the ground.
between
my pieces
were cheerful puddles
of the rain from your face
& the soap i used to
wash
my mouth.
i sweat a lot &
it's still so cold.
sometimes the teeth
aren't helping us much
to say the unvoiced-
to
untangle the tongue
from
what we don't
sincerely
want.
