I didn’t see it coming
But now that it is here
The very thought is numbing
That your love could disappear
I’ve often heard people say
That love can be blind
Did I loose you by accident
Or was it by design

I didn’t see it coming
It took me by surprise
Because I couldn’t see
What was right before my eyes

The pain of separation
Is now a reality
So ignore this conversation
About how it’s hurting me
Cuz maybe you don’t care
Now that you are free
And you have no sympathy
When it comes to me

I didn’t see it coming
It took me by surprise
Because I couldn’t see
What was right before my eyes

How am I suppose to fill
This aching empty space
When I cannot replace
Your love - in any case
What am I suppose to do
Without your warm embrace
And who can I turn to
That could take your place

I can only wish
That I had you here
And you need to know this
I still love you dear
Time nor distance can change that
Have I made myself clear
Girl I’m going to the mat
Just to make you aware

I didn’t see it coming
It took me by surprise
Because I couldn’t see
What was right before my eyes

I didn’t see it coming
But now that it is here
The very thought is numbing
That your love could disappear
I’ve often heard people say
That love can be blind
Did I loose you by accident
Or was it by design
