having new boyfriends, babies, cars
the loves of their lives,
the ones they cannot live without
replaced yet again
crashing their shiny cars into ditches
and returning to the auto dealers
to get suckered into another contract
with debt
with RIGHT THIS INSTANT!

and climb higher than the highs
