Dec 2011
I delight in watching you eat yourself outside – in
Distinct, but intact, as we flicker and smolder as one
Bodies melting into the soil where we are so urgently aflame
The sigh of our ardor as we extinguish ourselves
Obliterating the world around us.
With you, it is a pleasure to burn.
