She fell hard yet I caught her
kin of mine and not the devils daughter
I covered her fall from grace
her decent to my lonely realm

Such is love of her
I do protect her
she is my all
is the state of grace

Serpents sliver
dark lords I behold
but none will pass
as long as sentinel I be

Oh they see the light of glorious shields
those silver swords of might
and when they descend on us
we will put up one hell of a fight

Oh the state of grace
her wings in tatters
we protect her with vigor
as if nothing else matters
