A Mother's Love By Victor Tripp

by @victor-trippnb

A mother's love will reach with tenderness to guard and protect From physical or emotional storms, will go sleepless at night Walking the floor if there's a fever on your brow Warn you about no good young man that says that he loves you But is more in love with himself, and even though your grown and single While visiting home will still cook your favorite meals just when You were a child, guard and protect your virtue so the devil Will not steal, carefully explain con games and dirty tricks So that you know life isn't a romance movie , that life isn't a game of Pretend if you slip or fall in a hidden trap You might just get killed, a mother's love never fails For she will spend her last single penny to get a son or daughter Out of jail
